Look at the picture. Your task is to describe what is going on in the picture. In your description, explain who the two people are, what they are doing, and what they are feeling. Describe the scene as though you were explaining it to a close friend. Really let go and imagine what is going on in the characters' lives.

In order for you to get the best feedback, write continuously for 10 minutes. At the end of 10 minutes, you will receive feedback about your writing. For it to be of any value to you, please take the assignment seriously. Once you are ready to begin, press the button below.

Although we have never had problems with this in the past, you should know that this is not a completely secure site. This site is intended to provide an understanding of the text analysis program LIWC and, possibly, a sense of how you use words and how these words may reflect who you are. Any feedback you receive should be viewed as amusement rather than truth. We are still working on the underlying program in order to provide increasingly better feedback. You do not have to participate. You are free to withdraw at any time. You will not receive any credit, money, or other compensation for doing this. Everything you write will be anonymous and confidential. If you have any questions about the project, contact James W. Pennebaker, Department of Psychology, The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX 78712 (pennebaker@psy.utexas.edu).
